INGREDIENTS:
- 2c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups water
- 2 tb honey
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 2 tb oil
MIX
dry ingredients together
SEPARATE yolks
into a small bowl and whites into a large bowl.
Beat the eggwhites until stiff.
BEAT
the egg yolks. Add water, yolks, oil and honey
together.
IN a
large bowl add slowly the wet ingredients to the
dry ingredients, mixing until all the lumps are
gone. Fold egg whites into mixture.
HEAT
frying pan with 1 tb oil at med. heat. When pan
is hot, ladle mixture into pan to make saucer-sized
pancakes.
FLIP pancakes
when they start to bubble all over. Cook until
bottom is just turning golden.
